SEVEN WAYS OF SEEING
Rev. Jessica Purple Rodela

Anthropologist Edith Turner, before seeing a ghost, said: "It's true that I once had an experience of religion, after which I didn't see the point of disbelieving other people's experiences. It gave me something else to be inquisitive about." Come hear a Unitarian ghost story where science and "reality" collide.

Music: Clara Hilts and our Choir.

DIVING OFF THE (SPIRITUAL) DEEP END
Rev. Jessica Purple Rodela

On a summer excursion to the Bruce Peninsula, my friend Kandis and I debated the nature of a "spiritual experience." What do we mean by "spirituality"? How is it related to "religion" in general and our reasonable Unitarian faith in particular?

Music: Clara Hilts with special guest Kari Kokko, dulcimer.

THE GRAVITY OF GRATITUDE: A THEOLOGY OF ABUNDANCE
Rev. Jessica Purple Rodela

The simplicity of a seed leads to an abundant harvest – but only if we are willing to plant that seed instead of clinging to it. Today we contemplate a cornucopia of Transcendentalist insights.

Music: Rosemarie Harris.

In honour of Thanksgiving, we take up a collection of food today for the Food Bank, which our youth will be sorting and packing for delivery. Volunteers to help coordinate this effort are encouraged to contact Rev. Jess

SHARING OUR JOURNEYS
Jane Bell, Larry Kryski and Denise Marigold

Journeys can be literal, metaphorical—or a bit of both. They can be direct, taking us from point A to point B, or they can be serendipitous adventures that give us a better understanding of the world and of ourselves. This week, we will hear from Jane Bell, LarryKryski and Denise Marigold as they share stories of their journeys in life. Service

Leader: Susan Deefholts.
Music: Clara Hilts.
