Saying Goodbye, Saying Hello
Rev. Felicia Urbanski
Life involves many moments of saying goodbye. We make transitions all the time, and somehow we need to be able to make sense out of these experiences spiritually, if we are to continue to love life. This Sunday will mark our final Sunday at Dunbar Road. There are so many memories of this place! Let us come together to share those memories during this service. At the same time, we have opportunities to say hello. Our lives are full of new acquaintances and new surroundings. We will soon be in a new neighbourhood, in a new building. What does all of this mean to this congregation as a community? Peggy Hagen will share a special story today, which will be continued the following Sunday, our first in the new building. A New Member Ceremony is part of the service. Music: Boyd McDonald.
You are welcome to help move boxes to Sydney Street after the service.

Offerings
Rev. Felicia Urbanski and the Finance Committee
What is it that each of us gains from being part of First Unitarian? Is it the individual freedom of belief? Is it the sense of community and fellowship? Is it the music? The food? Is it all of the above? In this service, we will hear from a few of your fellow members about why they choose to support this congregation. This time of year traditionally brings a period of canvassing the congregation to discern financial commitments for the year. Although last year's canvass was a big one -- for both the Operating and Capital Campaign -- this year brings some new challenges due to our move to a new congregational home. Let's look at all of these in light of what our offerings can be. Music: Tom Nagy and Colin Read.Plan to stay after the service for special treats!
